Most of the devices listed below offer a Device Updater to update the firmware installed on your device. The earlier MK1 versions are therefore not officially supported on macOS 11 (or higher). Devices labeled MK2 (or MK3) are later-generation models that run on class-compliant driver technology. If a device is not listed below, this means it is not supported by these macOS systems. These devices do not require a driver installation and work simply by connecting them to the computer. Only current generation class-compliant devices are supported in these macOS systems. We will continue to conduct systematic tests with macOS 13 Ventura to offer full compatibility with our software and hardware products as soon as possible. Please find the latest info about compatibility with Apple Silicon in this article. This includes MASCHINE MK1, MASCHINE MIKRO MK1, AUDIO 2 / 4 / 8 DJ, TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK1, and TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 / S4 / X1 MK1. The same applies to macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 12 (Monterey), and macOS 13 (Ventura). macOS 10.15 (Catalina) terminated the operability of some legacy NI hardware. All products listed here require the latest update from Native Access, as well as the latest version of macOS 13 (Ventura).Other Native Instruments software and hardware products are not officially supported on macOS 13 Ventura. Good performance in that area. The Komplete Effects are: Crush Pack (Bite, Dirt, Freak), Driver, Mod Pack (Choral, Flair, Phasis), Premium Tube Series (Enhanced EQ, Passive EQ, Vari Comp), Solid Mix Series (Solid Bus Comp, Solid EQ, Solid Dynamics), Raum, Replika, Replika XT, Reverb Classics (RC24, RC48), Supercharger, Supercharger GT, Transient Master, Vintage Compressors (VC 160, VC 2A, VC 76). I don't remember the exact buffer size but I was able to get it quite low. To be fair, very few interfaces in this price range (or this diminuitive size & form factor) offer any digital I/O at all in the first place. If you have no plans on using the digital inputs you should be fine. The digital outputs of the Audio 6 work great. The Babyface was the only thing I could find that met all my requirements for portability, direct monitoring, signal routing flexibility, amount/type of I/O, USB, and works with all my existing gear. And they have direct monitoring of the digital inputs via software mixer. Both of those receive the TOSlink signal coming from my TC Electronic. I've tested the Babyface digital input as well as my previous interface (Motu 828mkII). And I needed something that worked with my existing gear now, rather than waiting for a driver fix that may or may not come. I had to buy an RME Babyface because I absolutely needed the 2 things above. The conclusion was that I tried everything & maybe the driver can be updated to improve external sync. I spent several hours on it & contacted support. I was able to get signal directly from a Lavry converter SPIDF output, but the Audio 6 will not lock to a TC Electronic rack FX via SPIDF. I shouldn't have assumed just because it says direct monitoring that it's for all the inputs.Ģ.) The clock of the digital input is unreliable syncing external to the incoming device. This is just the way it is, but was not obvious to me before purchasing. There is no software "control panel mixer". You are only able to directly monitor the analog inputs via the knobs on the hardware. I have one, I had intended to use it as my only audio interface but I ran into a few issues concerning the digital inputs.ġ.) Direct (latency free) monitoring is not supported with the digital inputs.
